CNC FIXED HEAD TURNING

CNC turning is one of the subcontract machining services provided by Precision Turned Parts within the UK and Europe. We manufacture CNC machined components from materials such as brass, aluminium, stainless steel and engineering plastics. Specifically, the company has a skilled workforce with vast experience in precision engineering.

We take great pride in supplying the highest-quality components to our vast customer base. A large volume of our customers are situated in the Bournemouth area and throughout Dorset. In essence, we provide subcontract CNC turning to many sectors and industries. Many of the components we manufacture are used in products sold globally.

Initially, we focused our efforts on machining non-ferrous and mild steel material grades. Commonly machined materials now include alloy/specialist steels amongst many others. This is due to testament of our staffs dedication to learning and moving forward in a competitive world. Our modern range of CNC Turning lathes offer capacity up to 51mm in diameter with component lengths of over 200mm possible.

CNC SLIDING HEAD TURNING

Precision Turned Parts Ltd are a CNC sliding head machining company manufacturing turned components. We operate sliding head CNC turning machines up to 20mm diameter in capacity. These machines are ideal for turning close tolerance parts, likewise long components.

Precision Turned Parts operate a range of Citizen sliding head CNC turning machinery. Our capacity produces components from 3mm diameter up to 20mm diameter in various batch sizes.

We can machine difficult to machine materials due to having LFV (Low Frequency Vibration) on some lathes. This is the latest technology within the sliding head machining industry. In brief, our capacity is aimed at the subcontract sector. We are able to offer fast delivery due to our flexible setup.

LASER CUTTING & ETCHING

With the use of our C02 and Fiber lasers we have the capability to cut and etch a variety of materials including wood, acrylic and foam with high accuracy and intricacy.

The two different lasers allow us to do many different processes that you may require from cutting out inserts to etching part numbers, serial numbers or logos.

COMPONENT ASSEMBLY

We have a dedicated assembly department. This allows us to conduct full or sub-assembly of customer components.

For some cutomers we keep a KANBAN system so that assemblies can be complete on our shelf ready to deliver when an order is called off.

ADDITIONAL TREATMENT PROCESSES

We are able to offer a wide range of finishes to suit your components. From hardening to anodising (coloured and hard), chemical black, electroless nickel plating, or other specialist coatings to meet your requirements.
